Integra Telecom Adds New Domain Name For ISP Customers
Integra Telecom has enhanced its e-mail service and is pleased to introduce its new domain name, integra.net.
For Integra customers currently using an integraonline.com e-mail address, this new domain provides the benefit of a shorter e-mail address. Integra automatically added an e-mail alias with the new integra.net domain name to integraonline.com accounts so customers can begin using their new e-mail alias today.
If your current e-mail address is username@integraonline.com, your new e-mail alias is username@integra.net. This enhancement allows you to use both your integraonline.com and integra.net e-mail addresses to receive messages. All integra.net messages will be forwarded to your existing integraonline.com account.
What is an e-mail alias?
An e-mail alias is not a separate e-mail box or a new e-mail account. It is an e-mail address that forwards all messages to another e-mail account. This means that all messages sent to username@integra.net will forward to your existing account, username@integraonline.com.
What is my e-mail alias?
You will use your existing user name and the integra.net domain. For example, if your current e-mail address is username@integraonline.com, your e-mail alias is username@integra.net.
Am I required to use my new e-mail alias?
Your new e-mail alias is simply another e-mail address option so you can continue to use your existing e-mail address. You will receive messages sent to both username@integraonline.com and username@integra.net so you do not need to update your business cards or letterhead with the new e-mail alias.
How this will affect my e-mail account?
You do not need to make any updates to your account or to your e-mail client configuration to receive integra.net messages. Also, you do not need to notify contacts who have your integraonline.com e-mail address because you will receive messages sent to both your integraonline.com and integra.net addresses.
