Integra has a proprietary DSL platform, which means that you have to use the equipment manufacturer's modem. Integra will provide you with a Paradyne, Zhone or ATI DSL modem tthat is compatible with our network.
Your web browser is configured to use dial-up. To change this, you will need to go into your web browser's tool menu and select Internet Options. You will then open the Connections section. Under the Dial-up settings, you will click the option to Never Dial a Connection.
The page that is displayed when you open your web browser is your home page. Your web browser can be set to display any page as your home page. To change your home page, open your web browser's tool menu then type in a new web address under the Home Page section.
Not all of Integra's DSL modems have multiple Ethernet ports. If you want multiple computers to access the Internet, you may need an additional piece of equipment with multiple Ethernet ports. Here are a few ways that you can configure your network.
Scenario 1: Connect Integra's Paradyne router to hub equipment or a switch with multiple Ethernet ports.

Scenario 2: Connect Integra's Paradyne modem to a router or firewall with multiple Ethernet ports.

If you are using a router or firewall, you will need to assign the static IP address to your firewall or router so please refer to your owner's manual for instructions on how to do this. Use the DSL Installation Guide for information on how to configure your computers.
The type of cable used to connect your DSL modem to other equipment will be determined by your modem's model number found on the bottom of the modem. There is one exception to this rule. If you are connecting your modem to hub equipment, the type of port that you plug your cable into will determine the necessary type of cable.
Here is a quick reference guide for the different types of cables:
| If you have ... | Type of cable |
| Modem model 6381 | Straight-through |
| Modem model 6310, 6350, or 6351 | Crossover |
| Ethernet hub; uplink port | Crossover |
| Ethernet hub; standard port | Straight-through |
If you have questions about what cable to use, please contact Integra ISP Support.
Integra will provide the necessary cable during installation. Integra's straight-through cable is black or blue and Integra's crossover cable is red with yellow ends.
Since the other computers can connect to the Internet, you are having an issue with your local network and not the DSL connection.
Integra has a speed test machine available with which to check your DSL speed.
