Changing NEAX2000 Voicemail Boxes

This document provides simple, step-by-step instructions for changing NEAX2000 Voicemail Boxes.

To change mailboxes from phone with soft keys:

  1. Dial 2575
  2. When System Answers, Dial 632
    • (If applicable, enter security code upon prompt…67890).
  3. Press >>>> (soft key)
  4. Press Mgr  (soft key)
  5. Press Chgbx  (soft key)
  6. Enter mailbox number to change
  7. System gives options to delete security code, reset mailbox to new, delete or add mailbox etc.

To change mailboxes from phone without/soft keys:

  1. Dial 2575
  2. When System Answers, Dial 632
    • (If applicable, enter security code upon prompt…67890).
  3. Answer NO (Press 2) to all questions until it asks “Access System Manager?” Press 1 for YES
  4. Answer NO (Press 2) to all questions until It asks, “Would you like to change a mailbox?” Press 1 for Yes.
  5. Enter the mailbox extension number after prompt.
  6. System gives options to delete security code, reset mailbox to new, delete or add mailbox etc.

Note: Setting a mailbox to new or resetting a mailbox will delete any associated transaction boxes.
