Integra Telecom Earns SIP Interoperability Certification with Three Allworx IP PBXs

PORTLAND, Ore., July 21, 2011 – Integra Telecom Inc., a provider of enterprise grade networking and communications solutions running across a highly reliable 3,000 mile metro fiber network, has completed lab certification of three Allworx IP-PBX’s with its SIP Trunking service.

This certification enables a seamless operation between the Allworx IP PBX 6X, 24X, and 48x models and Integra’s SIP Trunking Service. By expanding the number of certified IP PBXs, Integra business customers will gain more efficient use of bandwidth and increase voice capacity without the need for additional circuits.

“Integra is continually working to expand the number of lab-certified IP PBXs so that our business customers can experience enhanced functionality and productivity,” said Brian Gregory, director of voice and data services for Integra Telecom. “This certification will allow Integra to work more closely with Allworx dealers and partners, establishing ourselves as a first-class provider of SIP Trunking services.”

“This successful compliance testing between Integra and Allworx will be very well received by our many partners who sell both Integra’s SIP-Trunking and the growing Allworx product line," said Chris Hasenauer, president of Allworx. "IP-based communications utilizing standards-based platforms such as SIP, along with Allworx intuitive design and features, deliver efficiencies that were previously unimaginable for small and medium sized businesses."

Through Integra Telecom, businesses can utilize Internet, MPLS, SIP services and other voice lines integrated with state-of-the-art VoIP systems, data services and unified communication applications. Additional information is available by calling 1-866-INTEGRA or visiting
