PORTLAND, Ore. – April 10, 2013 – Integra™, a provider of fiber-based, carrier-grade networking, communications and technology solutions, has agreed to lease approximately 85,000 square feet of commercial office space located at 18110 S.E. 34th Street in Vancouver, Wash., allowing Integra to largely consolidate its Portland-area staff from multiple current locations into a single facility when the company’s current leases expire in 2014. Integra intends to make a significant investment in improvements to tailor the new facility to the needs of the business and its employees. Construction will begin in 2013, and the company expects to begin operations at the new location in June 2014.
Integra will maintain significant operations in Oregon. Its local sales force will continue to be located in Portland, maintaining close proximity to the company’s key Portland-area customer base. Integra will also maintain locations in Salem, Eugene, Bend and Lake Oswego.
“As our business has expanded to serve a broader enterprise market, the core functions of Integra’s business—product development, engineering, technology, customer service and support—have become more tightly integrated,” said Jesse Selnick, Integra’s chief financial officer. “With this facility, we’ll be able to maximize our efficiency and enhance our communication by housing most of our key, centralized functions under one roof in a dynamic, sophisticated commercial space.”
Integra conducted an extensive search that included several locations in Southwest and Northeast Portland as well as Vancouver. In addition to addressing the goal of consolidating operations into a single facility, the needs of Integra employees were a key consideration in selecting the location.
“Our people were a critical factor in our selection process,” said Felicity O’Herron, Integra’s senior vice president of human resources. “Roughly half of our employees in the Portland Metro area currently reside in Washington. Further, the quality of the facility, open, collaborative spaces, accessible and free parking and modern amenities are just some of the benefits all of our employees will enjoy.”
The Vancouver facility is owned by SEH America. Cresa Partners represented Integra as lessee’s agent.
