Integra Recognized As One Of Oregon's Most Admired Companies
Portland, Ore. - December 15, 2005 - Integra Telecom, a leading provider of all-in-one communications services for small and mid-sized businesses in the West, has received recognition as one of Oregon's Most Admired companies as rated by the Portland Business Journal.
Integra Telecom was ranked 10th in the technology category which includes telecom and internet service companies. Integra was the only full-service telecom company on the list.
"We are honored to be recognized by Oregon's business leaders and be listed alongside such high caliber companies who have a strong world-wide brand," said John Nee, Vice President of Marketing. "Recognition such as this further validates our business model of providing locally-based, high-quality service to our customers and recognizes the efforts of our employees."
Eligible companies could be public or private and not necessarily headquartered in Oregon. Voting was done by 800 Oregon CEOs who were encouraged to select companies based on their influence in the state's economy and its reputation in the market. Intel, Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard, although not officially Oregon companies but have a substantial Oregon workforce, dominated the technology category.
