Integra Telecom Grows 15 Percent in 2004

Eighth Consecutive Year of Double Digit Company Growth

PORTLAND, Ore. - April 11, 2005 - Integra Telecom, a leading provider of all-in-one communication services for small and mid-sized businesses, continued its steady growth by ending 2004 with more than $138 million in company-wide revenue, a 15 percent increase over the prior year. In addition, Integra increased the number of phone lines it services, called access line equivalents, by 22 percent. At December 31, 2004 the company served 247,000 lines across five states.

"Our consistent revenue growth demonstrates that small and mid-sized business owners continue to recognize Integra's value as a local, customer-service-focused alternative to the dominant providers," said Dudley Slater, chief executive officer of Integra Telecom. "We will continue to grow in 2005 by providing prompt, responsive service and working closely with customers to design the right combination of local, long distance and Internet services to meet their evolving needs."

Integra continued its free cash flow positive trend in 2004 by generating $35.8 million in EBITDA. This represents a 33 percent increase in EBITDA from 2003 results.

Financial Strength

Integra's history of consistent revenue growth allowed the company to close on a $170 million refinancing deal in 2004 to repay its original debt funding. In contrast with numerous telecom companies that have restructured debt or filed for bankruptcy, the deal established Integra as the first major competitive local exchange carrier since 2000 to repay in full its original debt funding.

Recognition

Integra was named the 344th fastest growing private company in America by Inc. magazine for its 541 percent sales growth in the past five years; this marked the fourth consecutive year Integra has gained national recognition on the Inc. 500 list. In addition, The Portland Business Journal named the company to the list of fastest growing private companies in the Portland area for the sixth consecutive year.
