Integra Telecom Introduces New Utah Executive Team

Provider Captures 11 Percent Market Share in Region

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - Feb. 14, 2005 - Integra Telecom, a leading provider of all-in-one communications services for small and mid-sized businesses, continues on its aggressive growth path by appointing Mark Geiselmayr to the position of senior vice president; Chris Arambula as vice president sales; and Jon Gale as business analyst. The new executive leadership team will focus on 2005 goals of expanding Integra's service area and increasing local market share. In less than five years, Integra has captured an 11 percent share of the small to medium sized business market in Salt Lake City and Ogden. This represents the leading market share position among alternatives to the monopoly regional carrier.

"The experience and talent of this Utah executive team allows us to ensure the highest level of service to our customers while enabling Integra to continue its consistent growth in the market," said Trent Anderson, Integra Telecom chief operating officer. "The local executive team will be instrumental in overseeing an expansion in our service area this year."

As senior vice president, Geiselmayr will supervise Integra's customer service, sales, installation and operations groups. Geiselmayr has been with Integra's Utah operations since entering the market in 2000, most recently serving as vice president of sales.

"We continue to attract customers throughout the Salt Lake City region with a combination of exceptional customer service and focus on serving small and midsize businesses," said Geiselmayr. "I look forward to the opportunity to expand our service to the local business community."

Chris Arambula will oversee Integra's Utah sales teams as vice president of sales. Arambula has 10 years of sales experience and joined Integra after distinguishing himself in sales management positions with McLeod USA Telecommunications.

As business analyst, Jon Gale will manage the fiscal responsibilities for Integra Telecom of Utah. An Integra employee since 2001, Gale most recently served in the company's customer care department.

A Commitment to Growth

In 2004, Integra Telecom was recognized by the Inc. 500 List of fastest-growing private companies for the fourth consecutive year, charting sales growth of 541 percent since 1999. Also in 2004, Integra secured a $170 million refinancing package which established it as the first major competitive local exchange carrier since 2000 to repay its original debt funding in full.
