Imagine the bride-to-be who stumbles upon the ultimate wedding planning oasis — a shop featuring an event planner, a tiara designer, a gown designer, a jewelry designer, a makeup artist, and a seamstress.

None of the standard snootiness. Lots of personal attention. A relaxed, inviting atmosphere.

That's what the principals at The Bridal Loft had in mind when they opened their co-operative business venture in 2001. Six independent women, each a custom bridal service specialist, banded together to make life easier for brides and grooms by having all of the services they need in one place.

Wedding consultant and event planner, Emee Pumarega says, "Several of the bridal experts had shops or home businesses of their own and used to cross-refer each other seamstress or production jobs. One of the designers spotted the ad for the space which we now occupy and got the initial core of "Lofties" on board. Later, others joined the membership and a one-stop bridal design studio was born."

In the self-described "homespun-meets-urban-chic" studio, customers can avail themselves of The Bridal Loft's comprehensive selection of custom bridal gowns, on-location makeup and hair, custom veils and headpieces, custom jewelry, expert bridal alterations, a "ladies-in-waiting" professional dressing service, and special event planning and coordination.

To minimize communications chaos, both for customers and themselves, the partners at The Bridal Loft chose an assortment of Integra's business phone lines, voice messaging services, 3-way calling and conference calling. "With six businesses under one roof, communication with our customers can get hectic," says the Bridal Loft's Emee Pumarega. "Integra's voice messaging menu system has really freed up our staff by quickly forwarding calls to the right business."

"Our previous communication situation was a complicated mess of lines provides by two separate carriers," said Emee. "Despite this, Integra made the transition right on time and consolidated all of our lines under one bill."
