Helping people through lifes many transitions was the allure of the storage business for Jessica Baker, who oversees management of four of Spiegel Developments self storage locations in Northern California. "I am a people person. I love to meet new people, and in the storage business I get to interact with people and help people every day," Baker said.
When people come to a Spiegel Development self storage site to rent storage space, most often its a happy occasion, such as a new job or a student heading off to college. Occasionally, Baker is confronted with sad situations as well, such as divorce or death in the family. Baker tries to make every experience as friendly, simple and comfortable as possible. "Customers like our state-of-the-art facilities, and our exceptional customer service," Baker explained, referring to the high-tech safety features like security cameras and coded entry gates.
Baker's focus has always been on providing excellent customer service, which is what she likes most about Integra Telecom. Integra provides phone and Internet services for most of Spiegel Development's self-storage locations. I have nothing but good things to say about Integra Telecom. They have been exceptional. Our account manager for Integra is Carolyn. She has been absolutely amazing to us, Baker said. If we have a problem and it can't be solved over the phone, they will send a tech out. They are very customer oriented, and I like that.
